Living Lab

How it started

Três Bandeiras began as a search for a place we were not sure existed yet. A place where entrepreneurs, nature, and intentional, mindful living could come together.

We found the place. And from there, we listened and built what we were looking for.

How it evolves

Every person who arrives shapes the field. With every resident, something is refined. Some things work better than expected. Some things don’t work at all. And sometimes things break, to be built again.

Três Bandeiras is not a finished product. It is a living place, lived, refined, and always evolving, together. That is the operating logic of a regenerative living lab.

What we are building

We are nature. We build better when we work in accordance with Nature’s principles.

Residents are participants in something that compounds, for themselves and for everyone in the house. Their presence, fresh ideas they bring, the sessions they might hold, the observations they leave, these shape what the next residency builds on.

Contribution is the multiplier. When everyone gives slightly more, the group returns it amplified. One contribution in the right field returns many.

It’s a regenerative model that learns from itself, where everyone contributes to what it becomes.

Três Bandeiras was awarded as a winner at the 2025 Coliving Awards. Not for a finished system, for what was being built toward: a residency that functions as a Regenerative Living Lab.

What we have learned so far

The environment does more work than we expected.

We learned that nature doesn’t shout, it whispers. The Atlantic coast, the cliffs, the daily rhythm, these are not a backdrop. They are active conditions that shape what becomes possible.

The right people around you amplify what is already there. A well-selected cohort generates more collective intelligence than any structured curriculum we could design.

And the body is not separate from the work. When physical care, nature, grounding, connection, and communal rhythm are designed in, the quality of thinking and being changes.

Sacred Work Lab

We had designed how we live, and we had designed how we create community and culture. But we hadn’t yet deliberately designed how we work.

Sacred Work Lab began with that insight and the realization that, as founders, we usually work by ourselves, and mostly from the mind.

The project explores how conditions, practices, and the shared collective field around us can shape a different quality of work, and how different states open up different kinds of creation.

In practice, it’s still in the early stages of experimentation, curiosity and co-creation. Some elements have already shown their effect: a breathwork session included in a strategy decision, Collective Deep Work hours held with intention and rhythm, and the influence of the presence of others working with depth.

Sacred Work Lab does not replace our normal work. It is an invitation that runs alongside it. In retreats, we learned tools and collective practices for healing. At Sacred Work Lab, we explore tools, states, practices, and the power of a shared collective field for creating.

From summer 2026, Moyra Marval, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at NEOMA Business School, joins as an embedded researcher.

The Coliving Residency model

The model we are co-creating is the model we are living.

Três Bandeiras is a Coliving Residency, where co-living, retreat, and mastermind meet.

Coliving brings proximity to a like-minded community, connection and shared living. A retreat brings an intentional container, embodiment and depth. A mastermind brings peer-level exchange and a focus on the work.

Each tradition solves one dimension. Here, all three come together. Something new emerges, brought into practical life by principles of sovereignty, care, and contribution, and a culture of regenerative leadership.

Co-living

The right people around you. A like-minded community that raises the bar for what daily life can feel like.

Co-creating

Your deepest work with peers who match your level. Structured rhythm, protected focus, and conditions where the work flows.

Co-thriving

Cliff-walks, surf, good coffee, sauna, yoga, communal dinners, gym. An alive body makes everything available.

How each residency is shaped.

Every element is an invitation. Shared rhythm and shared sessions emerge from genuine participation, not obligation.

  • Activation Gathering — opens each residency. Everyone is invited to share their personal intentions or what’s alive. From there, the month takes shape
  • Sharing Circle — for landing, grounding, and connection
  • Communal Dinners — relational depth through daily shared rhythm, without agenda
  • Sacred Work Lab — explores working conditions and research methodology through every cycle
  • Resident or externally led session — takes shape from whatever is alive and whoever is in the house
  • Spontaneous surfs, cliff-walks, coffees, yoga, breathworks, outside showers, tanning, DJ-ing, masterminds, chess, sauna sessions, courses, beach strolls, full moon gatherings, playing guitars, gardening, brainstorms, tarot readings, gym sessions, and more.
